South!
July 16th to July 22nd. We finally left the naked Tundra and higher latitudes behind us, above us, drove south (!) to Seward and the Kenai peninsula (via anchorage) where we spent 5 damp days on the rocky coast, in boats, tossed around by whopper waves, peering into glacier ice or the eyes of Whales and Sea otters; on walking paths too, in giant rainforests, under moss and lichen-smothered Sitka spruce and Pacific Hemlock, within the serrated enclaves of fog-laden fjords. Soggy!
